About NCCIS

First National Conference on Communication and Information Security (NCCIS 2007) is dedicated to addressing the challenges in the areas of communication and information security. The conference aims to foster cooperation among practitioners and theoreticians in this field, and to provide a forum for leading academics, researchers, professionals, practitioners, educators, technologists, programmers, developers, managers, and executives to present new ideas and contributions in this field. It is intended to be a lively meeting, covering a wide range of technical challenges and issues involved with the design, implementation, and applications of communication and information security. Contributions are solicited in all areas related to communication and information security. Specific topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Wireless and mobile communication
  • Optical fiber communication
  • Satellite communication
  • Data communications and computer networks
  • Microwave communication and antenna design
  • Cryptography and information security
  • Government policies for information secrecy
  • Cryptography in Bengali computer processing
  • Security in data and telephone networks and the Internet
  • Database security

Submission Instructions: Submitted manuscripts must report new and original results substantiated by experimentation, simulation, or analysis, but must not be currently under review for any other publication. All contributions should be sent electronically in .doc and .pdf formats as email attachments directly to nccis@daffodilvarsity.edu.bd . In the email, please include name, phone, email, postal address of the corresponding author, title of the manuscript, names and affiliations of all authors. Manuscripts must have a single-column format using 1.5 spacing , and 11 point Times New Roman. Manuscripts must not exceed 9 pages on A4–size paper including everything (abstract, body of the text, references, appendices etc.).

Please note that all submissions would be judged on the basis of their quality through double-blind reviewing , where the identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers. So, please be sure that authors' names, affiliations, acknowledgements do not appear on the submission . Also, do not describe prior works with phrases like: “In prior work [2], we ...”. Instead, refer to prior works in the third person, such as: “In prior work, Moore [2] ...”.
