The Department of General Educational Development (GED) of Daffodil International University (DIU) is working to prepare all students of the university competent enough to receive tertiary level education comfortably so that they can be befitting in the global job market in the 21st century.
General educational courses including science make up one-fourth of the total coursework that students used to take during their graduation in DIU. Students take classes from natural sciences, liberal arts, language and communications skills including critical thinking, social and behavior sciences. This general education including science, critical thinking, and ethics help to be developing rational human being. At our university the main idea of education is that we believe in the importance of uninterrupted process of education, GED is committed to develop self-esteem among learners for becoming unstoppable knowledge seekers and great achievers.
We also promote parents’ involvement as a part of a triangular relationship among teacher-student-parents to fulfil everyone’s dream for becoming.
