A global Collective Effort in the classroom: A National Curriculum Policy for Bangladesh to Build Youth Capacity for Green Jobs in Alignment with the sharm EL-S

Md. Shariful Islam, Student of the Department of Information Technology & Management, DIU represented BANGLADESH at the the 𝐂𝐎𝐏𝟑𝟎 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 from October 2 to 9 hosted by The British University in Cairo, Egypt in partnership with UNDP Egypt.
From a competitive pool of 2,300+ applicants, 130 students from 47 countries and 91 universities were chosen and Shariful conference as a fully funded participant to present his policy research paper titled: “𝗔 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗿ã𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: 𝗔 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝗹-𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 (𝗦𝗔𝗔) & 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗔𝗖𝗘)”, which ranked among the Top 10 research papers at the simulation.

Library Day-2023

Library Day is a celebration dedicated to the importance of libraries and the services they provide to communities. It serves as a reminder of the value of knowledge, literacy, and learning. The library organization organizes various activities, such as book exhibitions, author talks, storytelling sessions, and workshops, to engage readers of all ages. The aim is to encourage people to explore new subjects, embrace lifelong learning, and cherish the treasures found within the walls of libraries, fostering a literate and enlightened society. Dr. Kazi Mostak Gausul Hoq (Professor), Department of Information Science and Library Management, Dhaka University, was our keynote speaker at the program.
