Program Objective:

The aim of B.Sc. in Textile Engineering (TE) Program is to produce skilled manpower in the field of Textiles to satisfy the growing demands of Textile Engineering at home and abroad. It provides the students an opportunityto achieve outcome based knowledge of Textile Engineering with some freedom to tailor the program according to the student’s individual needs.

Eligibility for Admission:

Students having minimum GPA/CGPA of 2.5 both in SSC and Diploma-in-Textile Engineering from various Textile institutes & related educational institutes under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) can get admission.

Total credits requirement and duration of the program:

To obtain B. Sc. in Textile Engineering  (TE) students will have to complete 154 credit hours with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Candidates having diplomain Textile Engineering will get 29 credits as waiver. Therefore they have to do 154-29 = 125 credits.

If students obtain poor grades or fails in any course he/she will get the opportunity to improve the grade by appearing at improvement exams or retaking the course in the subsequent semester.
