DIU maintains a strong academic partnership with Varna University of Management (VUM), Bulgaria, since 2022 under the Erasmus+ program. Alongside regular student and faculty mobility, VUM also served as a project partner of DIU in the Erasmus+ CBHE Harmony Project, strengthening cooperation in the field of internationalization and capacity building in higher education.
DIU has an active partnership with Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), focusing on short-term exchange programs. Students and faculty from both institutions regularly engage in cultural and academic exchanges, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening international collaboration between Bangladesh and China.
Daffodil International University (DIU) and Sias University maintain a dynamic student exchange program. Students from Sias University regularly participate in the DIU Winter Camp as part of a short-term exchange initiative, experiencing Bangladeshi culture and academic life. Likewise, DIU students actively join the Sias University Summer Camp, promoting cross-cultural learning and global engagement between the two institutions.
DIU and The British University in Egypt (BUE) have built a strong exchange relationship through student mobility programs. BUE students joined the Social Business Camp at DIU in both 2023 and 2024, engaging in collaborative learning and cultural exchange. In return, DIU students participated in the BUE Summer Camp in 2024, further strengthening academic and intercultural ties between the two institutions.
Short-term cross-cultural internship programs and faculty exchange initiatives are actively conducted between DIU and KIIT. These programs aim to enhance global learning experiences, academic collaboration, and cultural understanding between the two institutions. Besides, both university visionary leaders worked together for a long time and established the Daffodil Institute of Social Sciences (DISS) in Bangladesh.

Airlangga University participated in the International Social Business Summer Program (ISBSP) hosted by DIU. Their active involvement enriched the program’s global diversity and fostered a vibrant cross-cultural learning environment, strengthening international collaboration and student engagement. Beside, both universities actively worked on the community Development projects under WUCAD.
Daffodil International University (DIU) has an active student exchange partnership with Eikei University of Hiroshima. DIU students regularly participate in exchange programs at Eikei University with partial funding, gaining academic experience and cultural exposure in Japan, which strengthens the international outlook and global competence of participating students.
DIU maintains a vibrant partnership with Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) through Erasmus+ and the Lithuania Government Scholarship programs since 2017. DIU students regularly participate in semester-long exchange programs at MRU, gaining academic and cultural exposure. In return, MRU faculty members visit DIU under the faculty exchange program as part of Erasmus+, contributing to academic collaboration and knowledge sharing.
DIU students regularly participate in student exchange programs at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) every semester, both physically and virtually. Additionally, DIU students have actively joined USM’s virtual short-term programs, strengthening academic collaboration and cross-cultural experiences between the two universities.
DIU students participated in CETYS University’s Virtual Summer Program and competed in the IAUP International Business Model Student Competition hosted by CETYS in 2023 and 2024, securing second runner-up in 2023 and first runner-up in 2024.

DIU students participated in UPAEP’s Virtual Summer Program, gaining global exposure and academic insight. Additionally, a student from UPAEP joined DIU’s International Internship Program, experiencing hands-on learning in a multicultural environment.
Under the Erasmus+ program, students from Daffodil International University (DIU) participated in a one-semester exchange program at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in 2024. Earlier, in 2023, a student from Windesheim joined DIU for a one-semester exchange, contributing to academic and cultural exchange between the two institutions.
Faculty members from LPU-Laguna visited DIU under the faculty exchange program, contributing to academic sessions and collaborative activities. Students from both institutions also took part in a virtual student program, engaging in interactive learning and cross-cultural exchange through online platforms.

DIU students regularly participate in mobility programs at Powiślański University, while faculty members from DIU have also visited the university for academic collaboration. There is an ongoing student exchange program with Dongseo University, fostering regular academic and cultural exchanges such as Asia Summer Program (ASP) is one of them. Students also frequently participate in mobility programs through the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), strengthening ties and opportunities between both institutions.
As a partner institution of the Erasmus+ CBHE Harmony Project, the University of Zaragoza has played a key role in strengthening cooperation in the fields of internationalization and capacity building in higher education. The collaboration focuses on enhancing global engagement, institutional development, and strategic partnerships.
In partnership with UCAM, DIU actively engages in student and faculty exchange programs under Erasmus+. Students participate in semester-long mobility at UCAM, while faculty members from both sides collaborate through short-term teaching and training visits, enhancing academic exchange and international cooperation.
Under the Erasmus+ program, student and faculty exchange initiatives with Mälardalen University bolster academic collaboration and cross-cultural learning. DIU students undertake semester-long study periods in Västerås and Eskilstuna, while Mälardalen faculty visit DIU for teaching and joint research workshops, enriching both campuses through shared expertise and international engagement.

DIU students have participated in the English Language & British Culture program and the Oxford Summer School. Additionally, a renowned student band from the University of Oxford, THE DONUT KINGS, known for their jazz music, visited and performed a concert at the DIU on 21 March 2017, creating a memorable cultural exchange experience.
This partnership is focusing on long-term faculty exchange, student exchange, collaborative research and discovery, teaching and learning initiatives, and joint participation in educational and research programs. 2024 SSACU hosted a group of DIU students for the summer program on architecture.
