4 Students get Financial Grant from DIU for Research work

 

As a part of its allocation of research grant to DIU students, Daffodil International University provided a handsome amount of grant to 4 students of Computer Science and Engineering Department of the university for their innovation of a mobile app titled ‘DIU Smart Students’. The students are: Ferdousur Rahman, Safayet Hossain, Israfil Rahman and Mehdi Hasan.

There are many necessary features like exam result, transition of exam fees, class routine, exam routine, campus news and so other things in the app. Guardians and students can easily get day to day academic and administrative information by this app. There are some other uses of this handy app that can be downloaded from Google play store and IOS store.

As a part of its aim to develop and encourage students by providing support in student research project, DIU offers grant/ funding of innovative research conducted by undergraduate and graduate DIU students. These grants are intended to aid student's costs of travel, room and board in the course of field investigation and to help cover costs of expendable materials and supplies required in the execution of the proposed research.

Any student can submit his/her project proposal or research work into Innovation and Incubation Center (IIC), DIU via this email pd.iic@daffodilvarsity.edu.bd. After analyzing the proposal from jury, university will help them financially to complete the project.

To encourage research based work, DIU is always conscious about students. Every year DIU grants a good portion of amount for research purpose and it will be continued is future too.
