DIU has 60000 square feet of library space at Daffodil Smart City, with beautiful collections of books, journals, magazines, reference books, and research papers, both online and hardcopy, available at DIU.

Transport

DIU has an extensive transport pool used by students, faculty members, and officials. Students, faculty members, and employees can move from distant areas to their respective campuses through this transport facility. Students can use transport facilities for industry tours, study tours, annual picnics etc.

Accommodation

DIU has arranged a spacious, secured and nearby residence for male & female students, where students reside in comfort, intensive care and in the lap of a study environment. The serene atmosphere of these accommodations is provided to the requirements of the students.

Gymnasium and Swimming Pool

DIU provides world-class education, Gymnasium, and other facilities for the students and employees to ensure smooth mental and physical enhancement. The Gym is set up with modern fitness equipment and facilitated with other necessary accessories required for smooth functioning. The university authority expects that everybody (students, teachers, employees, and support staff) will strictly follow the following rules and regulations to ensure proper use and maintenance of the Gymnasium. DIU has wonderful sports facilities and a beautiful playground. We have a swimming pool as well. 

Laboratory Facilities

In line with Vision 2021 and Digital Bangladesh of the government, most of the academic and administrative activities of the university have been digitized, and the university has emerged as a prominent ICT-based university in the country. The ICT infrastructure includes high-speed campus facilities with intranet, broadband internet, Wi-Fi access, free laptops, campus radio, campus TV, innovative learning and teaching ambience, and innovative digital media capabilities to enable training and research to support the students' needs for making them well-equipped for challenging workplaces.

One Student One Laptop

We live in a world of information technology where education is increasingly dependent on computers and the internet. It has now been the prime responsibility of the university to equip its students with proper technical knowledge so they can survive and secure a respectable place in society.

Considering the present situation, DIU is distributing laptops among students to use on a personal basis and thus helps them to face the challenges of a globalized world.
