Seminar on State of Gaming & Metaverse in Bangladesh

Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) Department of Daffodil International University signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 9future unicorns of Bangladeshi companies under Bangladesh Association of Software Information Services (BASIS) aiming to bring together innovative entrepreneurs to connect and interact with industry leaders impacting the Metaverse, Gaming, and NFT Space and bring together some of the brightest minds, game changers, and business professionals from all around the world.

Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology (FSIT) and Dr. Mohammad Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar (In-Carge) were present in the MoU signing ceremony as the chief guest and special guest respectively. Dr. Shaikh Muhammad Allayear, Head, Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) of Daffodil International University and all concerned Head and CEO’s of the respective organizations signed the MoU today on September 04, 2022 at International Conference Hall of the university at Daffodil Smart City.  The MoU signing companies with MCT Department Dreamerz Lab, Softalogy Limited, Bangladesh IT Institute, Singularity Limited, Dhrubok InfotechServices Ltd., Debug Bd Ltd.), Angular Esports Limited, Bangla Puzzle Limited and Riseup Labs.

Day long program included 5 seminars on “Opportunities for Bangladesh”, Case study of instant gaming portal, Esports opportunity in Bangladesh, NFTs, more than just your Web3 identity and Journey into Metaverse.The seminars were conducted by Ershadul Hoque, Chairman, BASIS Standing Committee on Games, XR & NFT and CEO of Riseup Labs, Tanvir Hossain Khan, Director, BASIS and Founder & CEO of Dreamerz Lab, Mohammad Abdul Majid (Chairman & CEO, Bangla Puzzle Limited),Md Shahriar Mobashir (CEO, Angular Esports Limited), Mr. Nibras Abdullah Karim (NFT Enthusiast) and Md. Zakir Hossain, (Director, Softalogy Limited), A. M. Mohibur Rahman, (CEO, Bangladesh IT Institute), Zafir Shafiee Chowdhury, (Chairman, Singularity Limited), Ashiq-Uz-Zoha, (Managing Director, Dhrubok Infotech Services Ltd.) and Sanzar Adnan Alam, (CEO, Debug Bd Ltd.).

Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a roundtable discussion on land law studies, land tenure, protection, and development on October 1, 2022 at the BoT conference room of Daffodil Smart City, Ashulia, Dhaka.

Workshop (work session) on "Advancement of Welfare and Dignity of Senior Citizens"

A group of students from the Department of Law of Daffodil International University (DIU) has got exciting opportunity to meet & greet honourable Chief Justice Justice Obaidul Hassan on 8th December 2023 in a workshop organised by DIU and All Bangladesh Senior Citizens Welfare Society at Daffodil Plaza, Dhanmondi. Justice Md. Mumtazuddin Ahmed, Chairman of the society, presided over the event. A format group photo was taken at the closing time of the event.
