The Department of Environmental Science and Disaster Management (ESDM) and The Department of Real Estate (DRE) jointly conducted a seminar on "Impact of Climate Change on Flooding: Bangladesh and Australia" to reduced the flooding problem in our beautiful riverine country with the comparison between two countries.

Professor Dr. Ataur Rahman, Professor of Water Engineering, Western Sydney University, Australia was present at the seminar as the keynote speaker.

14th Founding Anniversary of the Department of Real Estate, DIU

A good number of alumni and existing students joined the DRE Reunited 2022 session on the second day of the 2-day long 14th Founding Anniversary of the Department of Real Estate.

Successful alumni of the Department including Mr. Shakil Ahmed, Lecturer, DRE, Mr. Istiaq Ahmed, Deputy Manager, Akash Development, Mr. Reza Alam, Assistant Manager, Manama Development shared their memories and success stories with the current students and audiences.

Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, DIU addressed the session as the chief guest while the program was chaired by Dr. Amir Ahmed, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Real Estate.
