The Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering of Daffodil International University visited the universities hall kitchen to ensure the hygiene concern which is organized by DIU NFE CLUB.
They talked and advised the chiefs,employees and stuffs how to maintain hygienic method while cooking! They also talked about storage, refrigeration etc.Moreover, they talked about nutrition,how to keep dishes clean,how to preserve food in a healthy way, how to cook food properly etc! Besides, they talked about hygiene and sanitation, personal hygiene of the kitchen staff!
They also On the concern of the respective campaign they attach some banner on the kitchen and canteen area for awareness.
They all try to make them aware about all these topics!

English Olympiad Bangladesh 2022

The Final Round and the Prize Giving Ceremony of the English Olympiad Bangladesh 2022 held today (October 07) at Daffodil Smart City at Ashulia, Dhaka organized by the Department of English of Daffodil International University. English Olympiad Bangladesh 2022 is organized by the department for the third time with the motto “Show your English talents, Go for greater challenge” to make our youth as competent global citizens to take lead in international activities.
🔰The competition attracted students of class 9 to 12 (including "O" and "A" level) from all over the country and a total number of 977 students registered themselves for the event which was divided into two categories: Senior Category (College Level) and Junior Category (School Level). After the online preliminary Selection Round, 499 participants were selected and called on for the Theater Round, which focused on English reading and writing skills, and then 40 chosen participants from both categories competed in the Final Round by presenting their extemporaneous speeches on current genetic topics.
💢Dr. Shamsad Mortuza, Professor of English Department of University of Dhaka was present as the chief guest while Chief Patron of the event and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, was present as the guest of Honor. Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahaman, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present as the special guest in the program.
