COP30 Simulation Fellowship
The International Affairs Office is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the COP30 Simulation Fellowship, a prestigious youth-led initiative simulating the UN Climate Change Conference (COP). This program brings together outstanding students from across the globe to engage in high-level climate negotiations and policymaking.

Key Activities
Online Training (July–Aug): 2 weeks of expert-led sessions on climate literacy, diplomacy & youth action.
Policy Papers: Develop impactful climate proposals with international mentors.
Simulation Conference (Sep/Oct): Fully-funded, 6-day COP30 mock conference at BUE, Cairo.
Simulation Declaration: Present and vote on youth-led resolutions, published for COP30.
COP30 Brazil (Nov): Top delegates will travel to Belem to present at the official COP30.
Who Should Apply?
DIU University students (undergraduate or postgraduate)
Passionate about climate policy, diplomacy, and international affairs
Eager to develop skills in public speaking, negotiation, critical thinking, and research
