Program Objectives

Objectives of the Department

The main objectives of the department are:

  1. To provide quality teaching blended with practical Engineering skills
  2. To prepare students to develop hard and soft skills
  3. To prepare the students to excel in imbibing the concepts of sustainability, ethos, entrepreneurship and life-long learning
  4. To motivate faculty and students to do professional activities, collaboration, useful and application-oriented research and innovation

 

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEOs are long term objectives to be achieved by graduates within 3 to 5 years upon their graduation which are set realizing the needs and requirements of employer and Society. The EEE–DIU graduates are expected to accomplish the following PEOs:

PEO 01: Establish themselves in advanced research and study or as skilled and professional engineers or technical leaders or entrepreneurs on their chosen fields and beyond. [Expertise & Professionalism].

PEO 02: Contribute to the society through ethical, responsible and sustainable application of electrical and electronic engineering concepts, methods and tools. [Values & Responsibilities].

PEO 03: Engage in interdisciplinary and life-long learning activities that will help them to promote their professional and personal growth. [Continuous development].
