This is Engr. Md. Zahirul Islam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), Daffodil International University (DIU). I am a proud alumnus of DIU. I completed my graduation from Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), DIU in the year 2010 and post-graduation from Institute of Information and Communication Technology (IICT), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2017 respectively. I am also a graduate from Bangladesh Military Academy.

While studying at DIU, I received best club award as the president of nature study club. I received the award from the former vice chancellor of DIU late Prof. Dr. M. Aminul Islam and Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Daffodil family. I always had a dream to be a faculty members and DIU made my dream true. My research interest areas are Ad-hoc networking, Wireless Communication, VoIP, RoIP, Computer Networking, Wireless Sensor Network and Emerging Wireless Technology.

Daffodil International University has made a great deal of progress in a brief span of time through its dedication and commitment towards higher education quality. DIU is the only university in Bangladesh to get 3 renowned world university rankings, for example, Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings, QS University Rankings (Asia) and UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. I feel myself really lucky to be a part of Daffodil Family.
