Celebrating a Milestone: Daffodil International University's 1000 Scopus/ISI Indexed Research Publications! 
Daffodil International University, known as the leading IT-based University in the country, achieved a major milestone with 1000 Scopus/ISI-indexed research publications and book chapters in 2022. To recognize the outstanding contributions of faculty members, students, and alumni the DIU Research Division organized the prestigious "Research Award Giving Ceremony 2023" on May 13, 2023, at the International Conference Hall of Daffodil Smart City, Dhaka. 
The honored guest was Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Honorable Member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, as chief guest. His inspiring words urged professors, and researchers to continue their exceptional work and publish in areas that contribute to making Bangladesh a Smart Nation and lead it toward becoming a developed nation by 2041. 
Under the guidance of Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, DIU, researchers were encouraged to pursue patents and create commercial outcomes from their remarkable research. As a token of recognition for their significant number of publications in highly indexed journals, DIU proudly distributed nearly #92_lacs taka among these brilliant minds. The dedication and expertise in the research have resulted in approximately 80 percent of the papers being published in the prestigious Q1 and Q2 categories. 
We extend our special thanks to Nusrat Jahan, Assistant Professor, and Head, Department of Information Technology & Management, Daffodil International University, and faculty members of the ITM department for their invaluable contributions to research at DIU. Their exceptional efforts have played a pivotal role in achieving this extraordinary milestone.
