The Knitting Lab in the DIU Textile Engineering Department is dedicated to exploring and learning about various knitting techniques, equipment, and fabrics. Students gain hands-on experience with both weft and warp knitting machines, studying the structural properties and mechanics of knitted fabrics. This lab helps students understand the production process of knitwear and analyze the resulting fabric characteristics, preparing them for roles in knitwear manufacturing and quality control.
