This lab introduces students to essential textile wet processing techniques, focusing on pre-treatment processes such as bio-polishing, scouring, and bleaching. Additionally, students learn about four key types of dyes—direct, acid, basic, and vat dyes—exploring their properties and applications in textile processing. This hands-on experience provides a solid foundation in fabric preparation and dye selection, along with safety protocols and chemical handling.
