Daffodil Institute of Social Science (DISS) has observed ‘International Day of Art of Giving-2018’ on May 17, 2018 at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University in the capital based on the theme “feed with Love”. To mark the day, DISS distributed food packets among more than one thousand underprivileged destitute children and their family at three spots of Daffodil premises at Dhanmondi, Ashulia and Chandpur campuses. On this occasion, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU, Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, CEO of Daffodil Family, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Students Affairs) of DIU, Mr. Mahmudul Hasan, Principal of Daffodil International School distributed food packets among the underprivileged destitute children and their family at 71 Milonayoton of Daffodil International University.
Art of Giving (AOG) a philosophy of life to spread the peace and happiness among the people in the society was founded on 17th May 2013 by Prof. Achyuta Samanta — an educationist, social activist, social reformer and Founder of KIIT and KISS. This year Daffodil Institute of Social Science (DISS) celebrates its 5th anniversary in Bangladesh. Students and Professors of DIU those who are staying in different 8 countries also put their hands together and spared the message globally to share foods with happiness.
More than one thousand underprivileged destitute children and their family received food and could spread the peace and happiness among the people in the society. Other people and organization will be encouraged to help these destitute people.
