As part of the "𝐈𝐓𝐌 𝟑𝟏𝟔 - 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛"course, Abdullah Raian , Lecturer of ITM, organized a hands-on session for 6th batch students. The session took place at the state-of-the-art DIU Data Center in Knowledge Tower, Daffodil Smart City.

Students explored the setup and operations of the data center, gaining practical knowledge about network equipment such as switches, hubs, routers, access points, servers, gateways, etc. The dedicated data center team provided comprehensive assistance, conducted live demonstrations of the equipment, and offered a guided tour of the facility. This engaging experience allowed students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, enhancing their understanding of network communication and infrastructure.
