Decision on Automated Section Opening System

As per the decision of the of the DIU Management Committee, an Automated Section Creation System has been implemented to enhance operational efficiency and ensure standardized management of course sections.

The system shall function under the following guidelines:

1) When the courses will be offered into the system, a section will be created automatically with a capacity of 50 students for theory courses and 25 students for lab courses  (already implemented).

2)  When the section will be filled up by the required number of students (45 students for theory courses and 22 students for lab courses), the system will automatically generate a new section.

3) Departments will no longer have the ability to create sections manually.

Thank you very much.
