The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has the following goals of the hands-on engineering laboratory activities:

1. Enhancing understanding and mastery of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) subject matter.
2. Developing engineering reasoning abilities.
3. Increasing understanding of the complexity and ambiguity of empirical work.
4. Developing practical, technological and analytical skills.
5. Cultivating interest in engineering.
6. Improving teamwork abilities.

To achieve the above goal, the department has adopted the following measures:

1. The laboratories are designed with clear learning outcomes.
2. The experiments or projects are thoughtfully sequenced into the flow of classroom instruction.
3. Integrated learning of fundamental EEE course content and process.
4. Incorporated ongoing student reflection and discussion.
5. Designed the laboratory facilities based on modern technology and equipment.
6. Incorporated computer-based simulations and applications.
