I, Md. Mominur Rahman, currently working as an Assistant Professor and Associate Head in the Department of Textile Engineering of DIU. I have completed B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Textile Engineering from Department of Textile Engineering of Daffodil International University and now pursuing my M.Phil. degree in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). In the very beginning of my career, I served in a Taiwan based fabric company (YOGOTEX) in Comilla EPZ as Fabric Merchandiser. I have research interest on fabric wastage, boutique goods and garments production, garments washing and garments quality.
During the period of undergraduate study at DIU, the teaching style of great professors, seminars, workshops, training facilities, factory visits, lab facilities and supports from my beloved teachers have shaped my teaching career. Green Permanent Campus of DIU in Ashulia, caring to every students and internationalization of DIU inspire me most to work hard. Besides, different national and international events and IT based teaching and learning tools inspire me to cope up with current trends of teaching and learning.
DIU is one of the best institutions where prospective students can shape their goal in touch of some outstanding faculty members with the sincere care of each and every family members of DIU, boosted by different internal and external events, physical infrastructure and IT based teaching and learning tools.
I like to see DIU as the best ranked University from Bangladesh in terms of research. Besides, DIU will contribute more and more to society as well as to nation by shining in the field of engineering, science, commerce, entrepreneurship, health, sports by producing skilled graduates where research, merits and practice of knowledge will be highly entertained.
