I received the B.Sc. degree in Textile Technology from the University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh, in 2007, After working more than two years in industry and nearly one year as a Lecturer at the Department of Textile Engineering, Primeasia University, I joined the Department of Textile Engineering, Daffodil International University (DIU), as a Lecturer in 2008. Later on, I received the M.Sc. in Textile Engineering degree from the Daffodil International University, in 2011. I was promoted to the academic position Assistant Professor in 2012. I have also completed the M.Engg. degree in Advanced Engineering Management at the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), in 2014. Since September 2008, I have been with the Department of Textile Engineering, DIU. My current fields of research include: textile processing and management, textile sustainability, industrial engineering, lean management, Quality management, industrial environmental management and supply chain management. In fact, I was privileged to enrich my technical knowledge and research potentiality in Textile Engineering through the master’s studies at DIU that inspired my teaching career much better than before. I was motivated with several features of DIU during my studies, among them, academic and research activities, and IT involvement are typically mentionable.
I would like to see that many other noteworthy amenities of the University will entice more talented students in forthcoming days to be associated with the research activities of the University. The potential students need to be more attentive, enthusiast and research oriented to solve unbeatable problems of the industries or organizations. DIU is considered now as one of the top leading Universities of the country that will unquestionably contribute to learning and research across the world in future.
