The department of Development Studies, along with HRDI, DIU, organized two hands-on training sessions on “Qualitative Data Analysis Using NVivo Software and Reference Management Using Mendeley Software”

H.E. Mustafa Osman Turan, Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh, paid a visit to Daffodil International University (DIU) on Tuesday 06 December and attended a seminar titled "Bangladesh-Turkey Relations: Dimensions and Prospects."

He was warmly welcomed by the Department of Development Studies and the University's International Affairs Office.

The event was also impactful with the presence of special guests Professor Dr. Jebunnessa, Professor and Former Chairperson, Department of Public Administration, Jahangirnagar University, and Dr. Sabbir Ahmed, Professor, Department of Political Science, University of Dhaka, a former general secretary, Asiatic Society of Bangladesh and Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor, DIU.
