Erusmus Scholarship

Introduction

The European Union's Erasmus program aims to enhance quality in education through scholarships and academic co-operation between the EU and the rest of the world. Daffodil International University is one of the leading universities in Bangladesh who has strong foreign partnerships all over the world, and tries to ensure true globalization of this university. Daffodil International University has been actively working on student and faculty mobility programs under Erasmus + scholarship since 2016.  

DIU always tries to involve our student/academic staff in international activities to make them an international benchmark. Through Erasmus scholarship, more than 20 students of DIU have participated in semester exchange programs across Europe. DIU has many meritorious students at Daffodil International University, who do not have a good socio- economic situation to continue their further academic study in Europe through self-finance.  We would like to carry out Erasmus+ mobility for our talented, meritorious and enthusiastic students to have modern and advanced education.  Afterward, they will be able to share and implement advanced knowledge, technology and business concepts here at DIU as well as Bangladesh in the near future.

We have many students who have successfully completed their mobility through Erasmus+ program from Turkey, Poland, Lithuania, UK, and Portugal, Belgium, Greece etc. And successful students are appointed in different national & international organizations.  Since the mobility project creates great value for the students or staff, we always take the initiative to share it among all the networks.

To recognize the students through mobility programs, the facility will be provided are as follows: 

• Credit exemption 
• Recognition as an international Student in any Study Abroad programs.
• Exposure as an International Exchange student in Media.
• Chances to work as a mentor for the next interested students for this sort of program.
• After returning all the official support is provided to continue the regular courses.

Administrative staff and faculty will be able to have the experience of International study programs and maintenance through the mobility program. 

To recognize both academic and administrative staff mobility, the facilities will be provided are as follows:

• The faculty can be referred for Promotion with his International Achievement.
• Helps to get recommendation for further programs.
• Increases chances to get increments.

Erasmus+ of DIU

Daffodil International University works on two types of mobility program under Erasmus Scholarship--

• Student Exchange Program
• Administrative Staff/ Faculty Exchange Program

Student Exchange Program

A good number of students have been through the exchange program under Erasmus+ scholarship. They have experienced modern and advanced education from the renowned universities.  They are sharing and implementing advanced knowledge, technology and business concepts here at DIU as well as in Bangladesh. By this mobility, students get recognition as an international Student and get exposure as an International Exchange student in Media.

It has the facility of credit exemption. They may have the chances to work as a mentor for the next interested students for this sort of program. After returning, all the official support is provided to continue the regular courses of the student.

Administrative Staff/ Faculty Exchange Program

Faculty members and administrative staff are experiencing International study programs and maintenance strategies through the mobility program under Erasmus Scholarship.  As visiting lecturers, faculty members are conducting classes on their specialized areas and joining workshops and conferences. 

Officers and Faculty members can be referred for promotion with his/her International achievement. It helps to get recommendation for further programs and to Increase the chances to get increments.
