Program Description:
Dedicated to all students of Daffodil International University's partners, Student Exchange is an implementation of the internationalization program between Daffodil International University (DIU) and other partners from all over the world. This program allows the students of partner universities to study at DIU for a short-term period (one or two semesters), earn certificates and academic credits from DIU without any tuition and related fees. This program is reciprocal based on the agreement between DIU and partner universities.
Important Dates:
For Spring Semester (January – April)
- Nomination Deadline (by Home University): 01 October of previous year
- Application Deadline: 30 October of previous year
- Application Review and Confirmation: 15 November of previous year
- Class Start: 10 January (Tentative)
For Summer Semester (May – August)
- Nomination Deadline (by Home University): 01 February of previous year
- Application Deadline: 30 February of previous year
- Application Review and Confirmation: 15 March of previous year
- Class Start: 10 May (Tentative)
Fall Semester (September – December)
- Nomination Deadline (by Home University): 01 June of previous year
- Application Deadline: 30 June of previous year
- Application Review and Confirmation: 15 July of previous year
- Class Start: 10 September (Tentative)
Courses Offer:
"All courses offered at Daffodil International University are conducted in English (Medium of Instruction). Students are encouraged to visit the webpage of their respective Departments/Programs to browse and select courses they wish to study during the exchange program period, and then submit their choices along with the application form."
For each semester, exchange students may take 12-15 credits of courses in total.
How to Apply:
The Student Exchange program application is to be done online directly by the student by the deadline of each semester:
Required Documents:
• Passport scan copy (information pages)
• 12+ class certificate (s) and transcript
• Scan copy current transcript from home university
• Scan copy of the Student ID provided by the home university
• A passport-sized formal photo on a white background without any shadows
• Recent Health Certificate (If any)
• Covid-19 vaccine certificate
• A list of tentative courses request to study under the exchange program
